    Dreamworks' Trolls Competition | Terms & Conditions

    1. This competition is open to all residents of the United Kingdom (England. Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland) aged 18 and over except employees and their immediate families of Tesco Stores Limited, Galaxy Optical Services, DreamWorks Animation, 20th Century Fox, their agencies or anyone professionally connected to the prize draw.

    2. Facebook competition dated Wednesday 30th November 2016 to Monday 12th December 2016 - Closing date for receipt of all entries is 11:59pm GMT 12/12/2016

    3. Only one entry per household. No automated, third party or bulk entries are permitted. Multiple entries will result in disqualification. If it becomes apparent that either a participant or household is using any means to circumvent this condition these entries will be disqualified and any prize entitlement will be void.

    4. No responsibility can be accepted for entries incomplete, corrupted, delayed, damaged, wrongly delivered, or not received for whatever reason.

    8. There will be 20 winners selected at random from Facebook. Each winner will receive a goody bag containing DreamWorks’ Trolls merchandise. 5 additional winners will each receive a DreamWorks’ Trolls selfie stick only.

    9. The prize must be accepted as offered, and no prize can be exchanged in part or in full. There is no cash or alternative to the prize stated, and the prize is not transferable.

    9a. Each goody bag may include the following prizes: mini snow globe, beaker (colour and character may vary), key ring, stamp, activity pack, bracelet and lenticular card.

    10. The winning decisions are final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into. Entry implies acceptance of these terms and conditions.

    11. The winners will be notified by Facebook on 13/12/2016. If a winner cannot be contacted within a further 72 hours, the promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize entitlement and will award the prize to another randomly selected winner.

    12. The Promoter reserves the right to ask for proof of identity and to verify any entries. In the case of any entry, which proves to be false or cannot be corroborated, the judges reserve the right to replace with a reserve selected at the same time as the original.

    13. The winners may be required to take part in publicity resulting from this promotion with no recompense.

    14. Insofar as permitted by law, Tesco Stores Limited shall not be liable for any actions, causes of actions, claims or demands for any damage, loss, injury, adverse or other reaction which may be sustained by you in participating in any of our prize activities or receiving any of our prize gifts.     15. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the promoter reserves the right to substitute alternative prizes of equivalent or greater value.

    16. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, withdraw, terminate or temporarily suspend this promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or technical reason outside its reasonable control, with no liability to any entrants or third parties.

    Acuvue Party Eyes In-Store Competition | Terms & Conditions

    These are the rules which apply to your participation in our “Party Eyes with ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses” Promotion. By participating, all claimants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the Terms and Conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.

    “Promoter”: Johnson & Johnson Vision Care Companies, Johnson & Johnson Medical Ltd, Pinewood Campus, Nine Mile Ride, Wokingham, RG40 3EW.

    1. Eligibility: This promotion is open to customers of Tesco Opticians who are residents of the UK and CI only and who are aged 16 years or older, except for (a) employees of TESCO Opticians or the Promoter, (b) employees of any associated company of the Johnson & Johnson family of companies, (c) anyone else professionally connected with this draw or (d) the immediate families of (a), (b) or (c).

    2. Entrants aged 16 or 17 must have parental / guardian permission prior to entering.

    3. In entering the competition, all entrants confirm that they are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. The Promoter may require any entrant to provide proof that they are eligible to enter the competition.

    4. Promotional Period: Entries must be submitted between 00:00:01 on 14/11/2016 and 24:00:00 (midnight) (i.e. at the start of) on 09/01/2017. Entries received outside of this period will not be accepted. No responsibility can be accepted for lost, delayed, mislaid or incomplete entries.

    5. Entry Instructions: To participate, an entrant must: • be prescribed ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses, and purchase a minimum of 2 boxes of any ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses in-store in a single transaction. Fitting fees may apply and are in addition to the cost of purchasing the lenses. Ask your TESCO Optician for more details; and • on purchase of the lenses, receive an entry card containing a unique TESCO Opticians promotional code printed on the inside and details of how to register the code online to enter the Prize Draw. The purchase of ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses must take place between 14/11/2016 and 08/01/2017 and be through a participating TESCO Opticians in UK and CI only.

    6. Only one entry code will be given per person. New customers signing up to My Lens Plan will be given an additional 2 entry codes per person, tripling their chance of winning.

    7. To enter the Prize Draw, visit www.acuvue.co.uk/tesco-party-eyes, and complete the online entry form including your full name, date of birth, email address and unique promotional code from the entry card before 24:00:00 (midnight) (i.e. at the start of) on 09/01/2017.

    8. Northern Ireland residents only: No purchase necessary in Northern Ireland; residents of Northern Ireland can obtain a TESCO Opticians promotional code in any participating TESCO Opticians between 14/11/2016 and 08/01/2017 (without purchasing the lenses) and can use this to complete the online entry form referred to above.

    9. Internet access is required to enter the Prize Draw. The Promoter takes no responsibility for entries which are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected or are not received by the Promoter for any technical, delivery or other reason whatsoever other than through the fault of the Promoter. Proof of submitting an online entry is not accepted as proof of receipt by the Promoter. A promotional code from a leaflet (or email) can be submitted only once. Entrants attempting to use a code already registered will be rejected.

    10. No bulk entries. Any person making an entry on someone else’s behalf or an entry automatically generated by a computer will be disqualified at the Promoter’s discretion. If there is any reason to believe that an entrant has breached these Terms and Conditions or incorrect, illegible, fraudulent or other invalid or improper information has been provided, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, immediately disqualify such entrant(s).

    11. Prize: There is one prize to be won, consisting of £5,000 in Tesco Gift Cards. Tesco terms and conditions relating to Gift Cards will apply.

    12. The entrant draw will take place on 16/01/2017. One entrant will be selected at random from all valid entries submitted in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The draw to select this entrant shall be overseen by an independent person. The Promoter will use reasonable endeavours to contact the selected entrant within 14 days of the draw using the contact details the selected entrant supplied. If, despite the Promoter using reasonable endeavours to contact the selected entrant, the selected entrant does not acknowledge within 14 days of the selection, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative entrant at random from all remaining entries, with the originally selected entrant forfeiting the prize. This process will continue until a selected entrant acknowledges. The Tesco Gift Cards will be sent to the winner in the post within 30 days of the winner acknowledging.

    13. General: The result of the Prize Draw is final and no correspondence will be entered into by the Promoter, except with the winner.

    14. The winner of the Prize Draw will be subject to verification by an independent third party. The prize may be withheld until and unless the Promoter (in its sole discretion) is satisfied that the winner has met the eligibility criteria set out in these Terms and Conditions.

    15. The prize is as stated, it is non-transferable, not for resale and no cash or other prize alternative is available. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Promoter the prize will only be awarded directly to the winner. The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to award an alternative prize of equal or greater value, should the advertised prize (or any element of it) become unavailable for any reason outside of its reasonable control.

    16. This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other reward or promotion.

    17. The winner's details (name and county only) will be available for one month by sending a stamped addressed envelope to "Ashfield Meetings & Events Limited, Ashfield House, Resolution Road, Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire, LE65 1HW” after 16/01/2017.

    18. Personal information and contact details supplied by entrants will be stored by the Promoter and used only for the purposes of administering the Prize Draw, including contacting the winner, and the winner of the competition agrees that the Promoter may use the winner’s name and county of residence to announce the winner of this competition and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes. Data, including the winner’s personal data, may be provided to a third party supplier for the purpose of fulfilling delivery of the prize to the winner.

    19. The winner agrees to take part in reasonable publicity and promotional activity related to this promotion with no recompense.

    20. Events may occur that render the draw itself or the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the Promoter. Where circumstances make this unavoidable or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion or the awarding of prizes, the Promoter reserves the right to suspend, cancel or amend the promotion or these Terms and Conditions, at any stage. The Promoter will be responsible for any loss or damage suffered by the entrant as a result thereof if such loss or damage is as a result of a breach by the Promoter of these Terms and Conditions or the Promoter acting negligently. Otherwise the Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by the entrant as a result of the suspension, cancellation or amendment of the promotion or these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter will always endeavour to minimize the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.

    21. The Promoter and its suppliers will be liable for any change, compensation, cancellation, loss, damage, expense or failure to perform any contractual obligation if such liability arises as a result of a breach by the Promoter of these Terms and Conditions or the Promoter acting negligently. Otherwise the Promoter will not have any such liability where it is due to any event or circumstances which the Promoter (or its suppliers) could not foresee or avoid.

    22. Any question concerning the legal interpretation of this offer and these Terms and Conditions will be based on English law and the Courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction. 28SeptUK1897.

    3. Only one entry per customer. No automated, third party or bulk entries are permitted. Multiple entries will result in disqualification.     These are the rules which apply to your participation in our ‘See More Life with ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses Promotion. These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry/claim instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by participating, all claimants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions.     14. The prize draw will take place on 2nd October 2015. The winner will be the first name selected at random from all valid entries submitted in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The draw shall be overseen by an independent person. The winner will be notified by email of their win within 5 days of the prize draw date. In the event that the Promoter is unable to contact the winner within 28 days, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner at random from all remaining entries, with the originally selected winner forfeiting their right to the prize.

    These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Claim instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and, by participating, all claimants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions. Following a valid in-store purchase, participants must fill in the application form provided and ask their Tesco Optician to stamp the application form to confirm joining Tesco My Len Plan and purchasing 3 months’ supply of ACUVUE® Daily Disposable Contact Lenses.     6. Alternatively, after successfully signing up to Tesco My Lens Plan online and making a valid online purchase, participants will receive a pre-validated application form with their first direct debit order. Participants must fill in the application form and send the original completed form to ACUVUE® See More Life Promotion, ME.JPMH, The Laxmi Building, The Tanneries, 57 Bermondsey Street, London, SE1 3XJ, to be received no later than 15.10.15. Photocopies of the form will not be accepted.

    7. A minimum single transaction purchase of 3 months' supply of daily disposable (minimum 30 pairs) or reusable (6 pairs) lenses is required. Claims received by the Promoter that are for less than 3 months’ supply of ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses will not be processed.

    8. The £15 cash back in cheque form claim is valid on the purchase of ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses (1-DAY ACUVUE® MOIST®, 1-DAY ACUVUE® MOIST® for ASTIGMATISM, 1-DAY ACUVUE® OASYS®, 1-DAY ACUVUE® TruEye®), excluding ACUVUE® DEFINE™, ACUVUE® ADVANCE® and ACUVUE® ADVANCE® for ASTIGMATSM Contact Lenses.

    9. A valid claim received will entitle the claimant to £15 money back. No alternative reward will be provided.

    10. The £15 money back will be sent in the post to a claimant in the form of a cheque made payable to the individual listed on the application form within 28 days of receipt of a valid claim.


    GENERAL:

    11. The claimant is solely responsible for ensuring that they cash their cheque before its expiry date. The Promoter will not re-issue a cheque in the event that the cheque is lost once received, the claimant fails to cash it before it expires, or for any other reason. The Promoter cannot be held responsible in the event that a cheque is not received by a claimant as a result of them having provided an incorrect or incomplete address on the application form.
