Contact Lenses in the Acuvue and Focus Dailies Range Upgraded this December

Have you noticed some changes to our range of contact lenses recently?
If the lenses that you usually buy have disappeared from our website then it may be time for a contact lens upgrade!
The manufacturers of popular brands like Focus Dailies and Acuvue Advance are constantly advancing their lenses to improve the level of performance and comfort they provide wearers with.
That’s why every once in a while you may need to be refitted with a new and improved version of your usual lenses.
This December, a small handful of our contact lenses have been discontinued by their manufacturers in order to make way for more enhanced versions of the same lenses.

The following lenses have been upgraded:

Focus® Dailies® Toric lenses have been replaced with: Dailies® Aquacomfort Plus® Toric

Aqua Toric

Focus® Dailies® Progressives lenses have been replaced with: Dailies® Aquacomfort Plus® Multifocal

Multifocal

Acuvue® Advance® for Astigmatism lenses have been replaced with: Acuvue® Oasys® for Astigmatism

Astigmatism

Acuvue® Advance® with Hydraclear® lenses have been replaced with: Acuvue® Oasys® with Hydraclear® Plus

Oasys

As with all changes to your contact lenses, it is important that you pop into a local Tesco Opticians department for a contact lens appointment to ensure that you’re wearing the best lenses for your needs and the health of your eyes.

If your usual lenses have been discontinued please book an appointment with us before placing your next order. If you are a ‘My Lens Plan’ customer then your appointment will be completely free of charge.

You can either book an appointment online or give us a call on 0345 601 3479.
